I have been part of the YouTube gaming community since 2008 after I closed up my eBay shop I needed an outlet for my retro gaming. One day I was watching video on Final Fantasy 4 trying to get past this one part and saw this recommended video……

The Video title was something like “How to hook up your NES”. I said to myself who the hell can’t hook up an NES then I remembered who I was related to and was like yeah those people do need help with that stuff. So I watched the video for a bit and said Wow this is horrible. I can explain this so much better. So I made my first how to video and posted it on YouTube. Click Here to see it!!!!!! When I made my first video I didn’t own a tripod or even know how to put a video together, but we had just bought a new SD camera so at least the video was watchable. That first video now has about 10,000 views and gets almost 400 hits a month.

            I continued making how to video and I made it to a 100 subscribers really fast. In 2009 I switched to the username kenslog as it coincided with my website and PS3 username. At that time I started doing pick up videos. These videos were very popular and fun to do. I was collecting like a madman! But there was a problem I was spending way too much time putting up videos and making sure I had something to show my viewers every week. On top of that I was so into showing off that I started to overspend to do so. If any of you have been watching me for awhile I only buy the good deals. So I slowed down and not because I wanted to either. I moved to a very small town so my choices are very limited as to how I can game.

Today I am very busy with my new house but still find plenty of gaming time. We do not make many help or pickup videos anymore but I think the variety we now offer is better for our subscribers and for our schedules. My Son is going to be taking a more active role in providing the channel content starting in the summer of 2011. He now has a PVR and wants to show you his swagger.
