Releasing late in the fourth generation arena it took Super Nintendo 3 years to dominate. Sega Genesis was an edgier buy and very accepted amongst gamers. But with releases like Donky kong the Super Nintendo eventually prevailed. The SNES was release in two different styles as shown above. In the retro age of Systems the SNES stands very high among collectors. The amount of interest in the SNES system may have died off in 1999 but has come back with a vegence to top the retro market.
