Retro video games stores. They know what they have and they price it like its for sale on E-bay. You can haggle though. These are also great spots to unload your unwanted games. Or trade those unwanted games for games you want.

Trading.

If someone on Craigslist or Cheapassgamer offers you a trade make sure it is not to one sided. You can use videogamepricecharts.com as a guide. The most important part of a trade is that both parties are satisfied when the deal is complete.

Cleaning and organization.

There are many Youtube videos showing you how to clean your games and systems. Some of them are from me! If you want you systems to last a long time keep them clean. Canned air is your friend! Follow the instructions on cleaning anything very closely as you could ruin something in the process.

Keep a list of your games and equipment. It is good to know what you have at all times. There are many suites out there that will do this for you but I use Cheapassgamer.com
